Privacy policy

How personal data is collected, processed and used on this site, under the General Data Protection Regulation.

1. General

This privacy policy of Gojambel GmbH ("monosigned"), Undinestraße 3, 81927 Munich, provides information on the collection, processing and use of personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The protection of personal data matters to us and we comply with the applicable rules. Everyone with access to personal data is contractually bound to confidentiality.

3. Data collected

a) The signature editor

monosigned needs no account and no signup. Your name, title, company, email address, phone number and website are entered in your browser, and the signature is built there. None of it is sent to us and none of it is stored on a server.

What you type is kept in your browser's own local storage so that a refresh does not lose it. That storage sits on your device, is readable only by this site in this browser, and never leaves it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

b) Contact by email

If you write to us, your contact details and the content of your message are processed in order to answer it, under Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

c) Cookies and consent

The only thing this site stores of its own accord is your answer to the consent banner, kept in a cookie and in local storage so you are not asked again on every page. It records the choice and nothing else, it is strictly necessary under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and like everything else here it stays on your device: there is no consent server and no record of your answer reaches us.

No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used, and there is nothing to log in to.

d) Server log data

Our hosting provider processes the data your browser transmits when it requests a page, such as the IP address, the page requested and the time. This is necessary to deliver the site and to keep it secure, under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and the records are kept only for a short period.

e) Optional contribution through Creem

When you turn off the monosigned branding, the editor offers an optional contribution. The prompt links to a checkout operated by Creem, which opens in a new tab. This site sends nothing to Creem before you follow that link, and following it is your choice. Nothing on this site checks for a payment, so the branding can be removed whether or not you pay.

If you pay, the payment is made to Creem, which acts as merchant of record, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. Creem collects what its checkout asks for, such as your name, email address, billing country and payment details. We do not see or store your payment details. We may receive from Creem the information needed to record the payment, such as your name, email address, country and the amount, and we process it to keep the accounting and tax records the law requires, under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. After paying you are returned to a thank-you page on this site, which loads nothing from Creem.

f) Links to other sites

This site links to the maker's profile on 𝕏 and to an email address. Following a link to another site takes you away from this one, and the operator of that site then processes your data under its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. Nothing is loaded from those sites until you follow the link: there are no embedded buttons, widgets or third-party fonts here.

4. Purposes of processing

5. Disclosure to third parties

Data is only disclosed where necessary to fulfil a contract or where legally required. Disclosure to public authorities happens only under mandatory statutory provisions. If you choose to pay, your payment details go to Creem as described in section 3(e), not through us.

6. Data retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes stated here, or as long as statutory retention periods require. Correspondence is deleted once the matter it concerns is settled. Records of a payment are kept for as long as commercial and tax law require. Signature content is not retained by us at all, because it never reaches us.

7. Your rights

To exercise any of these, write to hello@monosigned.com.

9. Technical and organisational measures

Access rights are granted on a least-privilege basis, and administrative access requires strong authentication including a password manager and multi-factor authentication. All data transmission is secured via HTTPS/TLS. Data centres are operated by external providers to certified standards (ISO 27001); we have no physical access to them. IP addresses are avoided where possible and stored only briefly. Everyone with access to personal data is contractually bound to confidentiality, and responsibility for data protection is held by the company's management. These measures are reviewed regularly and adjusted to new technical or legal requirements.

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy as necessary. Please check this page for the current version.
